MECH Mechahunt

Mechahunt, the idea of hunting for hidden mechanical treasures has always been exciting and adventurous. In mechahunt, participants work in small teams to find the mechanical treasure with the help of given clues. Mechahunt test your thinking ability and mechanical knowledge and gives hands-on experience about mechanical parts. So, put on your hat of creativity, get ready to dirty your hands and let the hunting of treasure…Begin!!

Rules and Regulations:
Participants should carry their college IDs, INSIGNIA IDs, event coupon.
2. Every participant must carry a valid ID card of their respective college
3. The participants will have to participate in teams wherein each team consists of maximum 4 members and team must register for the event by paying Rs 100/- per participant.
4. For elimination rounds, teams have to appear for screening. Each team will be given one simple assembled model sheet.
5. The teams have to complete the prescribed task in the given time using materials provided.
6. Every round judgment will be done on the basis of the time taken by the teams to finish the round.
7. The decision of the judges will be final and binding in any circumstance.
8. The Participant must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition. The coordinators reserve the right to disqualify any team indulging in misbehaviour.
9. There will be one winning team and one runner up.

Competition Structure:
1. The event consists of 3 rounds.
2. Elimination Round 1: The team which clear the screening will proceed to next round. The round is based on simple assemble of parts with respect to time.
3. Elimination Round 2: The teams selected for round 2 are required to find the small treasure(single part) with the help of clue. The teams who find the treasure in the given time will be selected for final round.
4. Final Round: Teams have to hunt the 5-6 treasures(Mechanical parts) with the help of clues given and assemble it. The team with fast and accurate assembly will be the winner of this event.
NOTE: Any changes in the rules will be announced during the start of event.
